README

GO code coverage format converter for Bitbucket plugin

This is a simple helper tool for generating JSON output required by bitbucket-code-coverage plugin from go test -coverprofile=coverage.out output.

Installation

$ go get bitbucket.org/atlassian/gocov-bitbucket-converter

Usage

gocover-bitbucket reads from the standard input:

$ go test -coverprofile=coverage.out ...
$ gocover-bitbucket -prefix=/unnecessary-chunk-of-the-path/ < coverage.out > coverage.json

  Options:

    -prefix the bit of the file paths to remove, usually between $GOPATH/src and git root of your repo

You will then need to POST resulting JSON to your Bitbucket server.
