ircdog

ircdog is a simple wrapper over IRC that can respond to pings, and interprets formatting codes. Otherwise, it doesn't modify the sent/received data from the IRC server.

This tool's mostly useful for IRC protocol developers who want to see exactly what a server sends/receives.
