Overview

Instructions: The following code reproduces a real-world test case encountered in a production * Winston unit. Using Go v1.9.7, first install the dependencies and then run the code to reproduce a panic condition. This may take multiple attempts. Please explain to us the *root cause* of the * panic (do not merely describe the symptoms or the error itself) and what you would do to fix it. It is not required to actually code the solution.
