This repository holds a package includes some functions relative to random.

Download / Install

The easiest way to install is to run go get -u github.com/catsworld/random. You can also manually git clone the repository to $GOPATH/src/catsworld/random.

Functions

func Rand

func Rand(x, y int64) int64

Rand returns a random integer in [x..y], with the help of crypto/rand.

If x is larger than y, Rand will returns 0.

func String

func String(ss []string) string

String returns a random string from the string slice.

If the slice is empty, String will returns "".
