Tailor

This is a work-in-progress CSS minifier and optimizer. The parser and minifier are the most complete and optimization is in progress. It is mostly done but missing implementations for advanced CSS syntax.

Usage

$ go build
$ ./tailor file.css

Current features

• Parse CSS files
• Minify CSS files (average 25% file size decrease).
• Compares property values to their initial value.
• Syntax checking while and after parsing.
• Suggests alternatives to deprecated tags.
• Checks if the HTML tag selector is a valid HTML tag.
• Warn about redundant use of measurements (eg. 0px).
