Gombadi AWS Tools

This repo contains code that Sitback has created for its technical operations. The code was created to ease the daily work burden and also to upskill with Go Language. Enjoy

The code in this repo has been updated to use the latest available from AWS https://github.com/aws/aws-sdk-go

All the code in this repo will use AWS credentials from the environment.

NOTE: This repository is under ongoing development and is likely to break over time. Use at your own risk.

Installing

Simply use go get to download the code:

$ go get github.com/gombadi/aws-tools

Dependencies are handled by the Go vendor directory.

Note: This means the codebase requires Go 1.5+ and use of GO15VENDOREXPERIMENT=1

Usage

The following sub commands are available at the moment:

usage: awsgo-tools [--version] [--help] <command> [<args>]

Available commands are:
    ami-cleanup        Delete AMI & snapshots
    asgservers         Display auto scale server internal ip addresses
    audit              Audit various AWS services
    autostop           Auto stop tagged instances
    iamssl             IAM SSL CSV Output
    reserved-report    Reserved Instance report CSV Output
    snapshot           Snapshot instance & create AMI
