Overview

Package render turns a day into something to read, and into the facts it was read from.

Both are pure functions of model.Day. Markdown is the one people open; JSON is what regenerates the markdown when the format changes, which is why the JSON is written first and never derived from the prose.

Functions

func HTML added in v0.3.0

func HTML(d model.Day, cfg config.Config, assetsDir string) string

HTML renders a day as a single self-contained page.

func JSON

func JSON(d model.Day) ([]byte, error)

JSON is the canonical record.

func Markdown

func Markdown(d model.Day, cfg config.Config) string

Markdown renders the report.

Ordering is deliberate: what shipped is at the top because it is the question being asked, then each stream in the order it ran, then the things that need attention. Detail sinks; state floats.

func Week

func Week(days []model.Day, cfg config.Config) string

Week renders a rollup over whole days.

It reads only what the daily reports already established — no re-derivation, no second pass over transcripts. A week that disagreed with its own days would be a bug with nowhere to look for it.

func WeekBounds

func WeekBounds(t time.Time) (time.Time, time.Time)

WeekBounds returns the Monday-to-Sunday range containing t.
