func CheckAndSetup() error

CheckAndSetup ensures the ec_sys module is loaded with write support. If not, it attempts to load it. If that fails, it returns an error indicating setup is needed.

func RunFullSetup

func RunFullSetup(progressChan chan<- string) error

RunFullSetup performs the full build and install process. This should be called if CheckAndSetup fails and the user agrees to build.
