Package encoders provides atomic byte encoders for the framework output pipeline.

Package formatter provides the framework-level Formatter and IOWriter implementations.

Package formatting provides product-agnostic table view policies on top of the framework output primitives.

Package cliapp re-exports the framework formatter types so that callers that directly import cliapp can reference Formatter and Writer without also having to import the framework's formatter sub-package.
