Package artefacts is the packager of ot4xb-tool: it materialises the "artefacts" entries of a .ot4xb-tool build step — today the "zip" type — and provides the Windows-style file matching the other steps share.

cbk2obj
Package cbk2obj compiles an Xbase++ callback script (.cbk, the input of the legacy xppcbk "Callback Compiler for Xbase++") straight into a linkable x86-32 COFF object (.obj), optionally emitting the equivalent FASM source (.asm) as well.

def2lib20
Package def2lib20 builds x86 COFF import libraries (.lib) from module definition files (.def) in the classic "long" format: every imported function is a real COFF object member, exactly like the libraries written by Microsoft LINK 2.x–5.x (and by VC6 with /LINK50COMPAT) — the only format the Alaska Xbase++ linker (ALINK) understands.

vsxbt
expand.go resolves the <name> macros of the tool file values — folders, vars and the <v.*> version components — and normalises paths the agreed way: work with "/", collapse doubled separators at macro junctions, hand "\" to the disk.
