Overview

Command fixcli is an initiator you drive from the keyboard. It logs on to an exchange through a local tap and prints every message on the wire, both ways, with each tag named:

fixcli -addr localhost:9878 -comp ME1

Commands, one per line:

buy ACORN.LAB 99.90 10      a limit NewOrderSingle
sell BIRCH.LAB 25.10 5
cancel ME1-1                an OrderCancelRequest for that ClOrdID
orders                      your orders as the exchange reported them
seq                         both ends' next sequence numbers
drop                        withhold your next outbound message
silent | talk               withhold every outbound message / stop
quit                        log out and exit
