Overview

Package catalog provides technology-specific display metadata and protocol-operation-to-generic-verb mappings, kept outside the core sas package on purpose: "AWS Lambda" is not a core NodeKind, it's Kind "compute.function" plus Technology{Provider: "aws", Service: "lambda"}. Catalogs translate that pair into something renderers and authors find useful (a display name, an icon hint) without teaching the core graph model about any specific vendor.

func DisplayName

func DisplayName(tech *sas.Technology) string

DisplayName returns a human-friendly display name for a Technology, e.g. {provider: aws, service: lambda} -> "AWS Lambda". Falls back to "<Provider>/<Service>" (or just Provider when Service is empty) when the combination is not in the catalog, and to "" when tech is nil.

func HTTPOperation

func HTTPOperation(method string) (sas.Operation, bool)

HTTPOperation maps an HTTP method (case-insensitive) to the generic verb it specializes, e.g. "GET" -> OperationRead. The bool result is false for methods with no natural generic-verb mapping.

func IconHint

func IconHint(tech *sas.Technology) string

IconHint returns a short, catalog-namespaced identifier suitable for icon lookups by future graphical renderers, e.g. "aws-lambda". Falls back to "<provider>-<service>", and to "" when tech is nil.

func MCPOperation

func MCPOperation(action string) (sas.Operation, bool)

MCPOperation maps an MCP action name to the generic verb it specializes, e.g. "tools/call" -> OperationExecute. The bool result is false for actions with no natural generic-verb mapping.

func SQLOperation

func SQLOperation(statement string) (sas.Operation, bool)

SQLOperation maps a SQL statement keyword (case-insensitive, e.g. "SELECT" or the first token of a statement) to the generic verb it specializes. The bool result is false for keywords with no natural generic-verb mapping.
