ApplyClusterDefaults detects the cluster type and applies appropriate defaults to the provided deployer.Config. Returns *just* the assembled defaults for the given cluster type for logging purposes.

ResolveAutoResourceProfile resolves the "auto" resource profile depending on the cluster type.
