With go1.23.6+ installed, you can run the following to install bashfmt to your $GOBIN directory.

go install vimagination.zapto.org/bash/cmd/bashfmt@latest

Usage of bashfmt:

  -c    print concise bash
  -w    write formatted bash code to source file instead of stdout
